I love coloring. I can spend hours doing it, not professionally or perfectly but like a child, without limits and without rules.

I have many adult coloring books and more colored pencils than I can store. My Adult coloring books are different from children's books in the sense that their pictures are more illustrated and the fine detail is a little more complicated.

My son bought me a Buffy the Vampire Slayer colouring book about two years ago, and one picture in that book can take me days to complete. However, I do have a habit of spending days at a time coloring several pictures in one go even though I know I’m never going to finish any of them. A picture from my Buffy the Vampire Slayer book which was purchased from Dark Horse Comics is as below.

As you can see my coloring is far from perfect, however, it gives me hours of joy.

The fine detail of the pictures in these books is great for improving mindfulness and focusing skills because you have to really concentrate not to go out of the…
